| A task force made up of New York City building, construction and fire officials, engineers, and real estate leaders made recommendations regarding safety improvements to the city's building code based on lessons learned from the collapse of the WTC. In addition the National Institute of Standards and Technology and FEMA issued its final report on the WTC and made key recommendations for design and security changes based on lessons learned that may have nationwide influence in how high rises and infrastructure are designed. This workshop will present those combined recommendations that have the most impact and relevance from CPTED perspectives. | |||
