Organized Retail Crime: An Industry Approach
Most ORC presentations focus on the issue and the manner in which Organized Retail Crimes are committed. This presentation will focus on efforts to leverage industry resources (retailers, manufacturers), professional associations (ASIS, NRF, RILA) and public efforts (FBI, CUSTOMS, HR 3402) to standardize the definitions, awareness and legislative efforts. The presentation will cover the efforts of the Joint Organized Retail Crime Task Force and how it is using best practices from member companies that currently have successful ORC departments and programs.
