Monday, September 15, 2008: 4:30 PM-5:30 PM
B405
How can corporations prevent terrorist attacks? What guidance exists on developing a sustainable corporate response? This session explores what terrorism looks like across the globe, using a case study of a terrorist organization that operates in Europe to counterpoint the radical extremist experience. A three-tier model encompassing defensive, re-active, and offensive strategies is presented for a cost-benefit assessment of adopting costly government-led security initiatives. The session closes with an open forum to discuss the model and its validity. Sponsored by ASIS Physical Security Council
