One of a security department's biggest challenges is aligning its
function with larger company initiatives. This presentation shows the
steps required to leverage security assets in order to make a profit,
thereby becoming a greater asset to an organization. This is
accomplished by developing a business entity under the security
umbrella and marketing security services to others. This presentation
addresses issues such as gaining support, forming the entity, legal
issues, liability, management, marketing, building the business plan,
and more. Included are the actual results from such an initiative, so
it's not just a "what if" scenario.
