Auditing Security Management Systems and the Supply Chain: ISO 28000

The ISO 28000 standards rapid acceptance for international shipping, addressing the requirements of C-TPAT and for protecting the integrity of the supply chain signal the need for security professionals knowledge of its use. Lead auditor certification has been the entry point for contracts to manage safety as well as information security. It is rapidly becoming the entry point for the management of supply chain security as well. This session will focus on essential auditor skills and the ASIS International program to assist members to become certified auditors.
