Air Cargo and Security

The new EU regulations on air transport security impose some new requirements on air operators and local authorities. Talking specifically about cargo air transport, the new requirements can have a big impact on its operational set up and financial performance. This is particularly true when talking about express carriers, where finding the right balance between speed and security is key for its own existence, and that is why the application of the regulations must take into account the different levels of threat linked to each of the air transport activities.
