Intelligence and Security: Private and Public

The presentation is about the way private and public intelligence and security are changing. After President Bush's declaration of "war to terror", they are closing ranks in front of threats ranging from terrorism to illegal immigration, money laundering, drug trafficking and proliferation. Privatisation, outsourcing and partnership are increasingly seen as an optimal response, and an incredible opportunity to those prepared. Threats and opportunities for both sectors are discussed, with a view to showing a way ahead to better cooperation and, possibly, partnership.
