Kidnapping in Colombia - Management and Conclusion

Exposure and development of the steps taken during the negotiation and release of an Alcatel Executive, of spanish nationality, who was kidnapped by the guerrilla group FARC in Colombia. The actions taken in order to constitute the Crisis Management Team, the unexpected circumstances found during negotiations with the kidnappers, as well as the pressures suffered by the negotiation team. The presentation will end on the medical and psychological support and labour measures adressed to the victim after his release, and the steps taken by Alcatel regarding their employees and facilities in Colombia.
