The theme of this presentation is to describe the issues that engage Al Qaida and support elements at this point, how they are changing, and how this impacts and will impact the organization's operations in the near to middle range future. The purpose of this presentation is to offer security officials, analysts, and decisionmakers guidance on how the future terrorist threat may differ from the present one, what developments may influence and trigger this, and how this will likely impact security operations at a wide range of facilities and entities across the world, and in the United States.
