Practicality of interface between the private sector and public emergency service agencies are exposed to analysis of communications, logistics and resource allocation in a catastrophic event medium. The in-event evolutionary aspects of disaster management will be considered in terms of full-scale, mass-casualty simulations and lessons learned from them. Inherent shortfalls and means to their mitigation in such joint multi-agency operations are discussed. Supporting photographic and television news video will be presented.
